Workshop

A workshop has a duration of 3.5 hours and is given on Saturday. The turntable is being worked on to make different pieces. Then they choose their favorite piece and it is finished after the break. The idea is to create the experience of working with ceramics on the turntable. We take care of the drying, which takes about 10 days. It is first fired and then glazed with the chosen glaze from the options provided, finally it is fired a second time. After approximately 3 weeks the piece can be picked up in the store.

The cost for the 3.5 hour workshop, including materials and the finished glazed piece, is 95 euros per person . Reservations can be made individually or in groups, with a maximum of 8 people. During the break you can opt for coffee/tea with cake or a glass of prosecco with nuts.

In het atelier worden keramieklessen gegeven, zonder specifieke niveaus, zodat iedereen kan beginnen en zijn eigen traject kan volgen, zelfs zonder enige ervaring. Deelnemers moeten minimaal 16 jaar oud zijn. Er zijn 8 elektrische draaischijven beschikbaar waarop men leert werken met klei. Men kan afwisselen met handvorming werken met coils of met slabben klei en zelfs boetseren. Iedereen kan aan zijn eigen projecten werken, er is altijd een begeleider aanwezig die ondersteuning biedt.

Proefles

In deze les bieden we de mogelijkheid om een eerste kennismaking te hebben met klei op de draaischijf, waardoor je de kans krijgt om de lesomgeving uit te proberen. Het vergt veel oefening om resultaten te behalen, maar tijdens de les krijg je een idee van de magische wereld van keramiek.

De les duurt 2,5 uur en kost 55 euro inclusief materiaal. Als je na deze les besluit om niet verder te gaan, wordt er geen werk over gehouden, omdat de beschikbare tijd dit niet toelaat. Als je echter besluit om je in te schrijven, wordt de proefles niet in rekening gebracht en de behaalde resultaten worden bewaard voor de volgende les.

Keramiekcursus

De cursus omvat werken op de draaischijf of handvormen. Je kunt ook afwisselen tussen verschillende technieken en het is afhankelijk van het project dat je wilt uitvoeren. De basistechnieken worden uitgelegd totdat de persoon zelfstandig kan werken.

De inschrijvingskosten bedragen 25 euro. Je hebt de mogelijkheid om online een account aan te maken voor het reserveren van lessen. Bij de inschrijving krijg je een set basisgereedschap en een plastic emmer waarin je jouw kleipakket kunt bewaren. Dit alles kun je opbergen op je eigen plank in de kast die voor jou is gereserveerd.

The costs for the lessons are 145 euros per month via direct bank transfer, for a minimum duration of 6 months. After this period you can cancel the subscription with a notice period of one month. If you do not cancel the subscription, it will be renewed monthly.

The subscription gives you the opportunity to book up to 5 times a month. The student can make flexible reservations by choosing the day of the week he wants to attend and whether he wants to reserve a place at the turntable or at the table. If you miss class one week, you can safely make two reservations the following week.

A pack of clay (254-264-480) of 10 kg costs 13 euros ; for half a pack the price is 8 euros . The cost price of the clay includes the first firing. Before glazing the piece and the second firing, the volume of the piece that is placed in the kiln is calculated.

The lessons last two and a half hours, and this time also includes cleaning the equipment and the workplace. At every opportunity we try to maintain a clean workshop to have a healthy environment; Regulations will be provided upon registration.

Tuesday Wednesday Thursday.

While the morning classes are from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and are held on:

Wednesday Thursday Friday.
